myPV IQ is built on top of a world-class data polling engine for connecting to equipment that speaks Modbus. Modbus is an established and robust communication protocol that most industrial and utility equipment devices support natively, or through compliance with the SunSpec Alliance.
myPV IQ takes the mystery out of device communications. Authorized users can create new devices by “type” and then choose from existing Device Templates that support known inverters, meters, and other common hardware.
Authorized users may also create, save, and reuse new Device Templates for new equipment, with built-in communication testing tools, and the ability to scale, normalize, and assign units to data through the user-friendly configuration interface.
myPV IQ monitors all equipment in real-time, triggering alarms and providing access to last-read values to users supporting maintenance activities and facility operations.
